This page explains what data Fynds.ae collects, why, and how it is used. Written in plain English. Fynds.ae operates in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.

What We Collect — and When

Fynds.ae collects personal data in exactly two situations: (1) when you set a price alert and voluntarily provide your email address, and (2) when you accept cookies via our cookie consent banner. We do not require registration, and no data is collected from visitors who decline cookies and do not set a price alert. If user accounts are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature is made available.

Price Alerts & Email Communications

If you set a price alert, you provide your email address and give explicit consent at that point for us to send you a one-time notification when the price drops. Your email is used solely for that purpose. Once an alert is triggered, your email is marked inactive and no longer used for any purpose. We do not share or sell your email address to retailers or any third party. If you separately and explicitly opted in to marketing emails, we may send occasional deal and price-drop notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or request deletion by emailing hello@fynds.ae.

Cookies and Consent

We use cookies for two purposes only: serving ads via Google AdSense and measuring traffic via Google Analytics. No non-essential cookies are set until you give explicit consent via the banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies. Advertising (Google AdSense)

Fynds.ae displays ads served by Google AdSense. If you have accepted cookies, Google may use your browsing history and interests to show relevant ads. We do not control which ads appear. To opt out of personalised ads, visit adssettings.google.com or withdraw cookie consent.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Fynds.ae — which pages are popular, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. This data is anonymised and aggregated. We cannot identify you personally from analytics data. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

Affiliate Links

Some Buy Now buttons on Fynds.ae are affiliate links. If you click a link and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer's affiliate programme. We do not add any markup — commissions are paid by the retailer and do not affect the price charged to you. Prices displayed on Fynds.ae are sourced from retailer feeds and may vary from what a retailer charges at any given moment; always confirm the final price on the retailer's own checkout page.

IP Address and Device Data

When you visit Fynds.ae, standard web server logs and third-party services may record your IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL. This data is used solely for security, performance monitoring, and aggregate analytics. It is not linked to any personal identity.

Third-Party Services and International Transfers

Fynds.ae uses the following third-party processors: Supabase (database, USA), Vercel (hosting, USA), Resend (email delivery, USA), Google AdSense (advertising, USA), and Google Analytics (analytics, USA). By using Fynds.ae and accepting our terms, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Each of these processors operates under data processing agreements that require them to protect your data in accordance with applicable law. We do not authorise any processor to use your personal data for their own commercial purposes.

Data Retention

Price alert emails are marked inactive once the alert is triggered and are no longer processed. Aggregate analytics data is retained for up to 26 months per Google Analytics default settings. Marketing opt-in emails are retained until you unsubscribe. IP address logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted.

Your Rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Users in other jurisdictions — including EU residents covered by GDPR — have additional rights, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Children's Privacy

Fynds.ae is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through our site, contact us at hello@fynds.ae and we will delete it promptly.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your email address with retailers. We do not build individual profiles of visitors. We do not use your data for purposes beyond those described in this policy. We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If changes are material — for example, we introduce user accounts or change how email data is handled — we will notify users via email where we have a contact address. Continued use of Fynds.ae after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
